Nicholas Chan, Executive Director & Partner
Nicholas has over 13 years of experience as an IT consultant & Founder of S.C.N. Technologies where he counts established companies such as Knight Frank, Globamatrix Group, Raytheon, Subway Singapore, Synovate Singapore, Target Airfreight and Texas Instruments (Singapore, Taiwan) amongst his list of satisfied clients.
Prior to founding Azione Capital Pte Ltd, he worked with K.S. Lee & Associates (Asia) Pte Ltd, co-founded iFoundries (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd and served as its Director of Business Process Re-engineering. A nominee of the Spirit of Enterprise 2005 Award, Nicholas volunteers in the Project:Senso Ltd mentorship programme and in the formation of various social enterprise initiatives like the Pledge A Book Movement since its inception in August 2003. He is presently the interim co-ordinator for Singapore operations in Project:Senso Ltd. Nicholas has also actively participated in the Action Community for Entrepreneurship, providing guidance and assistance to budding startups.
Peter Tan, Director & Partner
Peter Tan is presently the Chief Executive Officer & Founder of Pacific Centennial Group. Prior to Pacific Centennial Group, Peter Tan is Board Director for IOD Communications Private Limited and is the part of senior management of Microsonic Systems. Before, Peter has worked for Hewlett Packard Singapore, Apple Singapore, Apple Far East, Singapore Police Force, Singapore Press Holdings, Merrill Lynch and Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Peter Tan is also a Managing Director of an local investment firm, business consultant and public speaker - both keynote and guest. A honoree of the Spirit of Enterprise 2005 Award and member of the Board of Governors for 2006. Peter is the judge of Startup@Singapore, an annual business plan competition, organized by National University of Singapore, NUS Business School Alumni Assocation & NUS Entrepreneurship Society. Peter has also participated actively for Action Community For Entrepreneurship (ACE), supporting local entrepreneurship and help young aspiring companies during their startup processes.
Peter has appeared on newspaper for humanitarian contribution during the Asia Tsunami, books such as "It's My Life" - Stories from Singapore's Entrepreneurs, websites such as XL Results Foundation, sgentrepreneurs.com, etc.
Valerie Lim, Corporate Secretary
Valerie is the Managing Director of Gateway 21 Pte Ltd. Her 19 years of work experiences in corporate secretarial practice include a 6.5 year stint with Arthur Andersen, where she was instumental in the setting up and the success of its Corporate Secretarial Department. From 1992 to 1993, she co-founded a local firm??? which has grown into a mid-sized firm. She then kickstarted and headed Abogado Pte Ltd, the secretarial division of international law firm, Baker & McKenzie, whose distinguished clients include Fortune 500s and MNCs. She is also a member of the Association of Small & Medium Enterprise (ASME), Ozone Barter Pte Ltd community, Money Mastery network and Entrepreneur Action Program, Money & You program and Dr. Wee's School for Entrepreneurs. A honoree of the Spirit of Enterprise 2005 Award, Valerie also volunteer her time as the Corporate Secretary of Project:Senso Ltd, assisting in documentations and the development of the organisation.

Mr. Soon Choo Teck

Being a Venture Capitalist for over 20 years, managing multi-million dollar investments throughout Asia, Mr. Soon is no stranger to the world of private investments. Having operated throughout China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore, Mr. Soon has performed investments in municipal infrastructure projects, technological startups, manufacturing lines and so on, bringing a deeper understanding of business financing and operations, an often lacking skillset, to aid Azione incubates.
Mr. Tan Chin Boo
Senior Lecturer, Film and Media Studies, Ngee Ann Polytechnic
Mr. Tan was the Head of Audio Post, Television Corporation of Singapore in the 1990s and is presently a Senior Lecturer in the Film, Sound and Video Department of Ngee Ann Polytechnic. With experience in both the industry and in academia, Mr. Tan brings both domain knowledge and academic expertise to help guide media startups in the vibrant media industry.
